NZSA’s strategy – Together for the Future of Subbuteo – was unveiled at the xxxth Ordinary Congress Larisa, April 2017.
It covers the period between 2017 and 2024, and has been drawn up in consultation with New Zealand County & Regional associations, leagues, clubs and players’ representative groups.
It is designed to ensure that NZSA remains true to its core values as the governing body of New Zealand Subbuteo, and is in a position to drive progressive initiatives and programmes to be implemented over the next seven years.
The strategy is based on four main pillars:
- Connection between Subbuteo & Football;
- Establishment of Grassroots;
- Creation of Trust;
- Competitiveness engagement
These themes focus, among others, on increasing participation, improving good governance at all levels, allowing teams more opportunities to play competitive matches and enhancing engagement for Subbuteo fans around the world.
The strategy calls for all Subbuteo stakeholders to work together in a spirit of cooperation and togetherness – with the overall well-being of the New Zealand and European game always in mind.
